The Role

Required by my client is a business development executive that is qualified in selling chemicals. The ideal candidate would need to be able to work around the North of the UK and have credible knowledge in science/chemicals (a degree is preferred). As this is a 100% new business position, the desired business development executive will have to acquire excellent negotiation skills in order to client face and close deals with high level decision makers.

The Candidate

Desired is a well practised individual with credible knowledge about various types of chemicals. Due to this, a science degree is preferred and would be beneficial. The business development executive needs to demonstrate a background of being profitable in promoting new business and be comfortable and confident enough to illustrate presentations of high quality to senior level decision makers. The role is solely about growth and expanding the sales for my client's company, therefore the model business development executive must attribute key characteristics such as being target driven, money motivated, resilient and have the hunger of wanting to achieve more. Demonstration of good negotiation skills is mandatory.

The Package

On offer for the right candidate is a base salary of £35,000 with an OTE up to £50,000 + benefits. Full support and training would also be provided to ensure the selected business development executive is developing in the role and constantly growing. A company car is also an option if needed alongside a laptop and mobile phone.
