Site Supervisor (Permanent)

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Site Supervisor for our team in Crayford, working 46 hours per week; on a 4 days on and 4 days off on monthly rota covering days and nights.

Site Supervisor Role:

Joining our team, you will ensure the efficient day to day operation of the MRF under the direction of the Production Supervisor and maximise the recycling and recovery rates at the facility. You will keep specific and accurate records whilst maintaining a customer focused operation. Duties include:

• Ensure the BMS procedures are followed and recorded. 
• Ensure planning and licence compliance on all issues relating to the MRF, including weighbridge duty of care compliance.
• Ensure all sampling and monitoring is carried out and recorded as per company procedures.
• Ensure all mobile and fixed plant maintenance is carried out and recorded as per company and manufactures instructions and procedures.
• Assist in the development of a safety culture at the site.

The ideal Site Supervisor:

• Good knowledge of relevant Waste Management, Health & Safety regulation and safe systems of work.
• Good knowledge of plant and machinery relevant to waste recycling and recovery.
• Previous experience in a similar operational role or environment.
• A proven track record of man management and production / maintenance management of an industrial / factory type facility
• Highly organised and efficient
• Ability to perform a range of tasks and duties autonomously once directed by Management
