Investment Executive (Permanent)

Investment Executive, Investment Analyst, Private Equity Analyst, Corporate Finance Analyst.

Job title: Investment Executive.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000.
Location: Llanelli.

The opportunity to help Wales grow by funding the most exciting business opportunities.

As an Investment Executive you will be using your market and investment knowledge to provide guidance when sourcing and appraising investment requests against set criteria. You will use financial data to assess and determine the most effective source of finance and the associated risks involved with each source of finance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Source and appraise investment proposals against set criteria.

· Conduct thorough and robust management, financial and commercial due diligence for investment opportunities and assess associated risks inherent with these opportunities.

· Investment executives liaise with portfolio teams post investment and support as required to maintain relationship with the investing company and facilitate additional investments as appropriate.

Essential experience required:

· Extensive experience in providing debt or equity finance to SME's.

· Understanding of Risk Management and investment processes and procedures.

· Ability to effectively analyse financial data and draw accurate and logical conclusions.

· Established network within the Welsh SME market.

Desirable experience:

· Venture Capital or Leveraged Fund experience.

· Ability to communicate fluently in Welsh.

· Knowledge of the regional business environment.
