Job Title: Toolmaker
Salary: £35,000
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Are you an experienced toolmaker looking for your next opportunity? Then you should work for a company who manufacture high quality plastic components and assemblies.
You will be carrying out modifications, repairs, and refurbishments to existing tooling, and will problem solve for any tooling issues. You will also manufacture new tooling to specification.
Responsibilities Include:
* Modifying, repairing, and refurbishing existing tooling.
* Completing planned preventative maintenance.
* Carrying out EDM, surface grinding, and bench fitting when required.
* Assembling and fitting new tooling.
Essential Experience Required:
* Practical engineer with experience in mould toolmaking
* Experience of wire EDM.
* Must be a fully indentured toolmaker or completed a time served apprenticeship
* Knowledge of thermoplastic processing.
* knowledge of CADCAM packages such as Solidworks.
* Experience of CNC programming.
