On behalf of our client a leading UK name in the supply & installations industry Randstad currently have the requirement for a full time qualified accountant. Reporting directly to the MD and supported by 2 other members of the accounts team the successful applicant will have a varied role in managing all aspects of financial management & reporting alongside assisting the senior management team in making key commercial decisions.

Requirements:
- BSC degree Accounting
- Membership of ACCA/CIMA
- Previous management experience of a finance team desirable
- Knowledge of accounting/taxation regulations of both the UK & ROI essential
Responsibilities:
- all aspects of financial management & reporting
- day to day management an experienced Credit Controller & Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk
- contracting
- preparing accounts and tax returns
- administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure
- auditing support although assisted via an external provider
- presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements
- analysing accounts and business plans
- providing tax planning services with reference to current legislation
- financial forecasting and risk analysis
- negotiating the terms of business deals and moves with clients and associated organisations
- managing colleagues, workloads and deadlines.
