Head Chef / Kitchen Manager (Permanent)

What will I be doing?

We are a young restaurant and we are looking to expand, and the new position is for an experienced Chef who wishes to grow the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to take control of the kitchen and drive the success of the business. You will manage the day to day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Additionally, the Head Chef / Kitchen Manager will take responsibility for training new staff and making sure that everyone in the kitchen in aware of their role.

Who are we looking for?

This restaurant provides a small yet exciting menu and serves delicious cocktails. You must have a passion for delivering great quality food consistently each time, every time. You will also have:

• Experience in managing a multicultural team and executing a menu.
• Understanding of Food Safety Procedures and Controls
• Be experienced with Stock ordering and control
• Have a keen eye for labour and ingredient costs
• Be able to train and motivate your team
• Experience within Vietnamese or South East Asian cuisine is an advantage

In return for your hard work as our Head Chef / Kitchen Manager, you will receive a Competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, working within a collaborative and exciting environment.
