You will be provided with a very clear structure to help you move from Developer to Senior to Lead and then Architect. Alternatively, if you want to maneuver through the management path, then you could also follow this avenue (Lead, Development Manager, Head of Development etc).

Working on systems that impact the UK wide, in this role you will be working with a great set of technologies in a Scrum team of 10, following Agile methodologies to help you complete your work. The company is a well-respected software house and is one of the largest employers of Java developers in South Wales.

At a minimum, you will have 1 years' commercial experience in a Java development environment, writing and deploying correct and functioning Java code. Hopefully, you will have some Java framework experience (ideally Spring), and be comfortable using databases.

Providing you meet the above minimum requirements, you will get the opportunity to work other great tools such as Elasticsearch, Kafka, Thymeleaf, MongoDB, RESTful APIs, AWS, Ansible and Terraform.

With the office being open from 7 - 7, flexible working allows you to complete your work in a time suited to you and your team. If you find yourself working extra hours over a long period, there is also the opportunity to accrue an extra 2 days off per month.
