Locum Social Worker - CWD - Flexible Working!
London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children With Disabilities services. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an authority which offers a greater deal of flexibility and autonomy as to how you work. Working in the service you will be provided the equipment to enable you to work remotely and work from home offering a more balanced work life balance.
Currently the Local Authority have locums in place covering the workload, however this vacancy is a result of a drive to increase the amount of permanent staff and further bolster stability thorough the service. This is predominantly a stable service with other members of staff being in post for at least over a year.
The Local Authority is one of the few in London,which over the last 2 years has not made any budget cuts to its Social Services; as such there are more resources workers are able to access. Recruitment to take on more staff is occurring so that workloads are being managed and service delivery is still being maintained at a high level. This also means that you will have access to training and development to help further your career.
To be considered for this post you should have held a post as an Children's Social Worker. Driving is not essential to the role although will be beneficial.
