Due to continued success and growth, Avant Homes are currently recruiting for a full time dynamic, and driven PA to join our team of Group PA’s based at our head office in Barlborough.

PA Responsibilities:

Within this role, you will provide confidential administrative and secretarial support services to enable our Group Directors to maximise their time to leading the business within their department.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-sufficient, experienced PA with the ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment.

A confident yet efficient individual who is able to communicate at all levels with an emphasis on building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Outstanding organisational and time management skills, along with excellent attention to detail is an essential part of this role.

The role of Group PA to Directors will also include;

  • Provide full PA support for 3 Group Directors daily, including diary management; scheduling meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Work as part of a wider administration and support team, ensuring the delivery of a fully effective administration function.
  • Collating information from MI reports to coordinate the preparation of key status reports and updates on all KPI’s relating to each Directors function.
  • Preparation of meeting rooms for Board attendees.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of defined administrative procedures as part of the wider executive administration team.
  • Effective business management processes, procedures and best practice.

To be considered for this role you must possess;

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience of minute taking within Board or departmental meetings
  • The ability to prioritise both your own and your Directors’ workload in occasionally ambiguous situations.

As well as being able to demonstrate your experience within a fast-paced executive environment, you must also covey a ‘Can Do’ flexible attitude in relation to business needs.

A smart appearance is vital, as you will be a direct reflection of the Executive team.
