Maintenance Supervisor (Permanent)

Acorn Recruitment is actively recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor for a facilities maintenance client in Llanelli. Our client has been managing the facilities aspect for a major worldwide heavy engineering company for over 15 years. Due to continuous demand, they are looking to increase their current workforce by recruiting an experienced Mechanical bias Maintenance Supervisor.

The role is based on a day regular shift pattern of 7.00am - 3.30pm Monday - Thursday with a 1.00pm finish on a Friday.

Main responsibilities of the role:

*Supporting the Senior Site Supervisor in managing approximately 14 multi- disciplined mechanical bias workforce.
*Organise and manage an in-depth Planned Maintenance programme.
*Assist in mechanical breakdowns
*Promote and rollout the importance of Health & Safety in the workforce and implement any improvements necessary.
*Undertake any additional duties required by the Senior Site Supervisor.

To be considered, applicants must have supervisory experience within the Medium or Heavy Industry sector and hold a relevant Mechanical apprenticeship or mechanical qualification.
