What will I be doing?

As a Product Manager for Bibby Financial Services you’ll be given the autonomy to provide insight and innovation in an unrestrictive market. You’ll be a subject matter expert working directly with senior stakeholders, internal operations and sponsors, influencing and steering on product strategy, target revenue, risk and much more. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop & deliver product strategy to drive target revenues for products under management. Work with Business MD’s and ExCo business unit / territory owner to gain approval for product plans and drive action to ensure delivery
  • Drive growth in existing product profitability
  • Manage the E2E product lifecycle process for the assigned products and adapt plans dependent on product life stage ensuring
  • Work proactively with the Sales, Operations, Finance, Insight, Marcoms, Internal Comms, PR, Digital, Risk and IT teams to drive commercial revenues, client growth & retention for owned products
  • Continually review P&L, Sales performance and client experience for owned products and adapt activities accordingly to mitigate financial risk and/or drive incremental revenues
  • Work with the Insight team to understand the customer need and manage appropriate product ranges
  • Compile and evaluate research on the product requirements of the market and competitor activities, and identify changes and or enhancements to current features
  • Develop and maintain competitive product propositions and features, advantages and benefits (FABs)

What do I need?

As a Product Manager you’ll be experienced in driving key initiatives, comfortable working in a collaborative environment from product conception to launch with continuous input and optimization of an evolving market. You will also need:

  • Knowledge and management experience of the E2E Product management approach, methodologies and process in a financial services environment
  • Track record of delivering revenue growth of products under management
  • Track record in Product Management bringing new products to market with evidence of commercial success
  • Experience managing and mobilising senior stakeholders (board level) and functional SME’s
