Job Description and Skills
an exciting opportunity has arisen for an EMC Technician to join very skilled team in Wimborne.
The ideal candidate will have a strong EMC background.
Key Responsibility
*
Setting up, commissioning and running EMC tests
*Developing new test methodologies for our new products
*Supporting Project Design Engineers with fault investigations
*Supporting the EMC team with test equipment, calibrations, lab management other housekeeping activities.
*Detailed reviews of test specifications and test plans
*Perform quality checks and analysis on test output
*Customer liaison
*Project manager liaison
*Test equipment set up and strip down
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required:
*Ideally you will possess a minimum of HNC in Engineering
*Systems or related technical discipline and have sounds understanding of the basic principles of Measurement & Instrumentation systems, Electrical power systems, Electrical & RF Safety.
EMC is quite unique and recognise that training will likely be required. Most of this training will be on the job, working with the team, customers and business as a whole.
