Area Sales Manager (Permanent)

Duties of this role:

• To manage existing client accounts and grow your portfolio
• Generate leads and act on them to win new business
• Meet with clients face to face and present to them to win business
• Develop in depth product knowledge, speak about products confidently and make recommendations to clients
• Maintain proactive contact with prospective clients to build relationships
• Comprehensive understating of client needs and provide competitive solutions
• Uphold and enhanced company image/awareness within the marketplace
• Liaise closely with internal departments to provide quotes, administrative support etc
• Any other duties deemed relevant to the role

Essential requirements to succeed in this role:

• Full UK driving licence
• 2 years B2B field sales experience within the PPE work-ware industry
• The ability and desire to sell
• Excellent communication, planning & presentation skills
• Highly self-motivated to succeed
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
• Confident and determined approach
• The capacity to flourish in a competitive market/environment
• Proven track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts
