The Role:

You will be responsible for quality assurance and the end to end testing of their consumer facing mobile apps and business to business web application.

Reporting to Test Manager, the main responsibilities will be:

• Ensuring that their software deliverables are to a very high quality
• Rapidly writing and executing test scripts - delivering a re-usable set of regressions test scripts for future releases.
• Providing status updates regarding test progress, results, and unresolved problems
• Writing bug reports in JIRA
• Helping them move toward a continuous integration model of development

What they're looking for:

Essential:

• ISEB/ISTQB Certificate in Software Testing
• 2+ years Mobile/Web testing and QA experience in an Agile Environment
• Running functional test in different environments including Web and Mobile
• Experience of manual/exploratory testing
• Team player with a 'can do' attitude
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
• The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise conflicting demands
• Experience of writing Java based test automation scripts using Selenium Webdriver) for both Web and Mobile using Eclipse IDE
• A degree in a technical discipline, Computer Science preferred

Desirable;

• Knowledge in using Appium for mobile automation testing framework
• Experience in creating automation tests suite using Page Object Modelling for mobile and web.
• Create test reports using TestNG for automation scripts
• Integrate Cucumber BDD
• Agile methodologies and the corresponding Quality Assurance practices (knowledge of other methodologies is also an advantage).
• Creating and running end to end tests including API calls
