Mechanical Maintenance Senior Supervisor (Permanent)

Acorn Recruitment is actively recruiting a Senior Site Supervisor (Mechanical Maintenance) for our client who are involved in the Heavy industry in Llanelli.

Overall responsibility will be to oversee the planning, manning and safe execution of all mechanical projects on site.

Duties will include:

*Review and approve Inspection & Test records
*Review and approve Risk Assessments, Method Statements and control measures.
*Participate in preparing and reviewing Plans and Procedures
*Select, assess, review and supervise Sub contractors employed on site, which will include approving their technical capabilities, Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental plans.
*Ensure the correct co-ordination and progress of the work ensuring adherence to the Works Information and the Accepted Delivery Program.
*Liaise with Representatives, external parties and any other relevant departments
*Assess and train site based personnel.
*Identify continuous improvement ideas and suggestions and present to site owners.

To be considered for this role, applicants must be Time served or educated to at least NVQ level 3 in a Mechanical discipline. Must have extensive experience in supervising multi- disciplined mechanical teams on maintenance and installation projects. Experience within the Medium to Heavy engineering sector is essential
