FINTEC recruit is seeking an Operations Engineer based in Reading. This is a permanent position with salary £40,000 to £46,000 plus benefits. You will have experience as a DevOPs engineer working in an agile environment. You will be expected to analyse, design and implement model software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Technical input in delivery of projects
- To build and maintain hardware and software infrastructure
- Provide engineering services within R&D
- Able to provide Agile operational services for software delivery
- Involved in task tracking, software configuration management, build and test systems
Skills and Experience required for the Operations Engineer role:
- Continuous Integration tools e.g. Jenkins
- Source Code Management and branching schemes e.g. GIT
- Build and test e.g. Ant, Maven, JSON, Groovy, Jenkins 2.0 pipelines; Configuration Management e.g. Puppet, Chef, Ansible; Continuous Delivery tools e.g. Nexus, Artifactory; Quality tools and metrics; Dashboarding, monitoring and alerting;Jira; Cloud services e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP
