My client, an established and innovative provider of digital solutions to the education sector, has an immediate opening for a motivated Helpdesk Support Coordinator to join their thriving team in central Bristol.

As the Helpdesk Support Coordinator, you will perform front-line helpdesk duties for one of my client's most successful products. This will involve responding to customer queries via telephone, email and live support communications in an efficient way so as to consistently deliver an outstanding service. Additional responsibilities will include keeping service documentation up to date, encourage user feedback and work closely with the service delivery team to develop and enhance the service.

Key responsibilities:

-Second-line support to all customer queries (phone, email, social media), providing consistently accurate advice, support and service request fulfilment to all customers

-Diagnosing and resolving customer queries professionally and efficiently

-Escalating queries and liaising with to service team colleagues and service desk as appropriate

-Contribute to identifying and implementing continuous improvements to the service quality

-Testing new functionality

Skills knowledge and experience:

-You will come from a customer service / helpdesk background and demonstrate a proven track record of effective customer relationship management

-Prior experience of working in a service desk environment

-Proven ability to work in a team and, if necessary, co-ordinate team activities

-Ability to devise, reflect on, improve, implement and record support procedures, working under own initiative

-Ability to write clear, concise instructions for others to follow

-Clear telephone voice, strong interpersonal skills and a strong professional ethic when dealing with customers

-Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with others and build relationships

-Excellent IT skills including Windows, Office software (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, mail-merge, electronic diary systems), and email.

-Knowledge of Web technology and terminology associated with Web based applications
