Site Engineer (Contract)

Responsibilities
* Ensuring compliance with the HASEMP, RAMS and other policies and ensuring this information is disseminated to the workforce.
* The engineering control of the works according to each discipline including design implementation and completion of quality control systems.
* The control of materials supply for the works required.
* Coordination of the materials testing and ensuring records are created and passed on for archiving correctly and includes entering into databases where necessary.
* Preparation and revision of RAMS, ITP's, and the monitoring of working practices against these to ensure compliance.
* Liaison with the Section Manager / Site Supervisor to ensure the adherence to safe methods of work and programme.
* Responsibility for the detailed short term (4 weekly rolling) programme and ensuring all Engineers / Supervisors are aware of upcoming works. Help with forecast budgets with the Section Manager and liaise with Quantity Surveyors' to identify variations from the contracted works.
* Managements of subcontractors- ensuring attendances are agreed and communicated to teams via prestart meetings and help with enquires liaising with the commercial teams to ensure best value maintained.
* Ensure personal Professional Development is being undertaken and encourage the development of others.
* Liaison and supervision of site engineers (if/when allocated) including workload and control, Managing temporary absence and performance management.

* Platform extension experience experience
* Production of detailed short term programmes
* Sub-contract attendances
* Implementation and management safe systems of work
* Good knowledge of CAD/Surveying equipment
* Management of works to programme
