B1 Licensed Engineers (Permanent)

Experienced B1 Licensed Engineers who are typed on 1 or all of the following; 727, 737NG, 737CL or 757 are currently required to join a successful and expanding MRO in Hampshire. With plenty of ongoing work, and plenty of new contracts in the pipeline they are looking to expand their workforce to in line with the new workload.

The B1 Licensed Engineers will be required to perform the following duties;

• Supervising and controlling within their trade categories to ensure that aircraft on check is progressed within agreed time frames

• Ensuring quality standards are maintained for maintenance, repairs, replacements, overhauls and modifications on their allocated aircraft.

• The implementation, control and supervision of company policies in accordance with procedures laid down by the company and the appropriate regulatory authority

• Reporting any shortfall in production, performance, standards or absence to the Supervisor or his assistant and implementing the company disciplinary procedure if necessary

• Ensuring that all man-hours expended are correctly recorded in accordance with the company procedures

• Liaising with the Supervisor on manpower requirements and ensuring that the man- power allocation is utilised with the maximum affectivity

• Processing all technical and other relevant documentation correctly and accordingly

The successful B1 Licensed Engineers will have the following attributes;

• Previous experience in a Base Maintenance environment

• B1 EASA approved licence

• Type Rating demonstrating six months recency in last two years on all or 1 of the following; 727, 737NG, 737CL, 757

• EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety 1&2 and Human Factors Initial & Current

• Trade certificates

The role of B1 Licensed Engineer (727, 737NG, 737CL and 757) attracts;

Basic salary of £56982 with an annual shift allowance of £5250 and an oppotunity to earn up tp £6000 of approvals for their 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern working 7am - 7pm (half hour paid lunch break)

There is also the opportunity to work full time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week, which offers a basic salary of £54840 with the opportunity to earn up to £6000 of aprrovals.
