Job Title: Finance Manager; hours of work: 5 x days per week, 37 hours; Pay: £30-£35 per hour; Reports to: Finance Director

Purpose of role:
The Finance Manager will be a key team member of the Aircraft Carrier Alliance Finance and Programme teams. The role is tasked with:
Provision of experienced financial support to the Programme by building and maintaining effective relationships and ensuring robust financial challenge and control.
Provision of support to the EAC/SCAM processes, provision of data to the CAMS, ensuring their understanding of the data and that all financial considerations have been taken into account in the calculation of the outturn forecast for the programme.
Critically, the role will be the key interface between the Delivery IPT's ensuring consistently of approach and application of ACA Processes and Procedures.

Key Technical Skills:
Thorough understanding of ACA Processes and Procedures.
Demonstrable experience in Project Accounting, Cost Monitoring and Control.

Familiarity with Aircraft Carrier Alliance processes and deliverables
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full support to the IPT lead/CAMS for allocated IPT areas including attendance at monthly SCAM reviews.
Actively support and continuously challenge IPT areas EAC updates (including change, risk and opportunity, escalation, Forex)
Responsible for ensuring IPT EAC reports and variance analysis is of high Quality to support presentation to Alliance Management Board and Customer community.
Responsible for managing Delivery IPT inputs to the monthly customer forecasting processes, including milestone achievement.
Oversee monthly cost allocation and verification processes, including supplier invoice approval, programme labour bookings and authorisation of journals and accruals.
Line Management Responsibility for ACA Project Accountant supporting Delivery IPT's Additional Key Accountabilities:
Continuously self-assess process compliance through ACA Assurance process.
Support Industrial Partners requests for information to support their internal accounting processes.
Drive functional and Programme continuous improvement objectives.
Deputise for Finance Director as required Quality Responsibilities and Accountabilities.
Accept responsibility for and demonstrates a visible commitment to Quality.
Lead by example and sets high personal standards.
Make time for Quality as an integral part of the role and actively communicate on Quality matters.

Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications: CIMA / ACCA qualified.
