Electronics and embedded software engineer
A well know company based in Edinburgh are looking for a junior or experienced electronics and embedded software engineer to work on a new project for the company.
Your role will be to provide electronics and embedded software support to their clients existing electronics and will lead the development of future products for the foreseeable future. This would involve occasional travel to France and Romania.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to work on both hardware and software projects and therefore its essential you have both electronics and software experience. Currently the team utilise the STMicroelectronics STM32 Cortex-M processor family.
Essential Skills and Experience:
*BSc in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
*Experience in an electrical / electronic engineering role and ability to demonstrate at this level with a significant proportion of practical work
*Analogue and digital electrical circuit design, producing high quality schematics and PCB design
*Embedded C for programming micro-controllers, such as ARM based
*Proven track record of working across the product life-cycle from concept to production
