Production Analyst (Permanent)

Who are we looking for?

The ideal Production Analyst will have a high level of skill in information analysis, including the ability to extract complex data from relational databases, and interpret highly complex information to draw conclusions from it. You will have strong technical knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel at an Advanced level. You will also have:

• Ability to negotiate and to justify their position when required.
• Ability to understand various manufacturing methods and techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
• Maintaining continuous professional development.
• Ideally degree qualified and/or similar qualification with relevant experience.

What will I be doing?

The Production Analyst is responsible for modelling the operations function across the business, determining appropriate measures and controls to enable analysis of the performance of the system and to provide continuous improvement. Producing daily/weekly/monthly reports, presenting data in a clear graphical form, analysing large datasets and identifying anomalies. Presenting findings to various line management, developing new reports and ensuring they are readily available to support time critical decision making.

Working closely with the Operations Director and the functional managers (Delivery, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Production Engineering and Facilities), the Production Analyst will apply a systematic approach to defining the operations system and support each manager in evaluating the performance of their respective area with consideration of the effect on quality, on-time delivery and our P&L.
