Acorn is currently recruiting for Labourers at Port Talbot Steelworks for short and long term contracts to start immediately.
Successful applicants will have:
- A full UK Drivers Licence.
- Previous experience of working in a Steelworks or similar industrial environment.
- A CCNSG Site Safety Passport is also required.
- You must be willing to take a substance abuse test and pre-employment medical examination.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Industrial cleaning.
- Manual handling.
- Strict observation of Health and Safety.
- Shovelling heavy material.
- Water jetting.
- Reporting incidents or near misses to the relevant parties.
