Are you an experienced corporate strategy and planning professional looking to take on a new challenge?

Pennon Group is one of the largest environmental infrastructure groups in the UK. At the top end of the FTSE 250, the Group has a workforce of around 5,000 people. Together, we will build the most trusted environmental solutions company in the UK providing infrastructure and services that enhance our customers’ lives, protect the environment and deliver growth for our shareholders.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Vendor and Contracts Manager based from either Exeter or Taunton.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Planning, the role of the Vendor and Contracts Manager is to manage Pennon’s technology partners and suppliers, ensuring that maximum value is gained from relationships with our Partners.

The role will establish vendor performance and compliance metrics to demonstrate effectiveness of the team. The Vendor and Contracts Manager will work across the IT department to support identification and establishment of new vendors whilst working closely with the Procurement and Legal functions to conduct performance monitoring and reporting of our key vendors, overseeing the day to day purchasing and longer term strategic contracts.

The Vendor and Contracts Manager will lead the Vendor and Contracts support team in analysing IT Vendor performance and spend across Pennon, identifying opportunities to reduce cost, improve service, and maintain compliance with internal Procurement, Finance and Legal business rules and requirements.
