Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Quality Manager for our team in Crayford, working 40 hours a week.

The Role:

Joining our team, the Quality Manager will ensure the efficient operation of the administration systems, whilst keeping accurate records. To control the quality of materials coming into and leaving site, having regard to customer satisfaction and responsibility for operating various laws, acts and code of practice relating to waste disposal, with reference to health and Safety and environmental law. Duties include:

  • Ensure effective and efficient weighbridge operation and the application of gatehouse systems 
  • Supervise quality control & sampling activities in accordance with all contractual specifications and as required by the Recycling Registration Scheme.
  • Provide quantified reports as required under the Recycling Registration Scheme (RRS), MRF CoP and customer contract requirements
  • Produce professional written communications, reports and minutes for the site as required

The ideal Quality Manager:

  • Previous experience in a similar operational role or environment.
  • A proven track record of man management and production/maintenance management of an industrial / factory type facility
  • Good knowledge of relevant Waste Management Legislation.
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulation and safe systems of work.
  • Good knowledge of plant and machinery relevant to waste recycling and recovery
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with other staff, customers, regulators and the general public.
