Project Administrator
We are recruiting on behalf of a client of ours for a Project Administrator to join their manufacturing site in Port Talbot. The Role
The Project Administrator supports the effective delivery of projects and programmes. The job holder will interface with a broad range of contacts from technical staff to senior management and provides a range of project support services as needed.
The jobholder supports programme delivery by facilitating project organisation, structure, discipline, and sundry enabling activities, handling multiple concurrent tasks successfully under pressure.
To carry out this role successfully, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
Support Project Disciplines
· Provides project coordination and support on assigned projects.
· Assists the project manager with managing the project work-flow / life-cycle to ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget.
· Monitors and documents team activities.
· Participates in workshops and meetings and identifies /tracks follow up requirements.
· Provide general support to project / workstream managers in creating project sites, storing project documentation in appropriate sites, identifying projects/activities with deficient documentation, following up with project / workstream managers to ensure all appropriate documentation is in place.
Enabling Activities
· Tracks project resources, timelines, deliverables etc- both for projects under his / her control and other key HR functional commitments
· Provide general administrative project support including monitoring calendar, setting up meetings and workshops, making travel and/or meeting arrangements.
· Manage PMO and program SharePoint sites (e.g., folder structure, content, access)
· Support programme communications
Project implementation
· Where appropriate, the Project Administrator may take ownership of certain project deliverables
Requirements / Personal Specification
· Educated to A level, or equivalent. The jobholder must have the ability to communicate at all levels but particularly with key stakeholders in the process. Good team working is essential.
· The jobholder must be able to demonstrate an ability to work efficiently in an administrative function and to deliver prioritised tasks to meet tight deadlines.
· The jobholder should be able to demonstrate experience of managing sensitive and confidential information and delivering high volume of work with attention to detail.
· The jobholder must have excellent IT skills particularly in excel.
Hourly Rate: £12.29 per hour
Contract Hours: 36.5 per week
Holidays: 35 days
Contract Length: 6 Months
