Support Engineer
Location - Gloucester
Salary up to £40,000 to £50,000 + 25 days holiday, pension, flexible working environment
Are you sitting there in a support role working for a company where you have no progression or development pathway?
Are you interested in assisting with different areas of the business and not just another support technician being pigeon holed in to never ending tasks?
I am working with a global company who work closely with specific clients to develop bespoke software applications that support delivery of services.
As a Support Engineer you will be providing local support, assisting the UK team by providing escalated technical support and supporting and developing UK server and network infrastructure.
You will be involved in a wide range of tasks from back end Microsoft server support for all uk locations to business software support.
This company is in a central location in Gloucester so very easy to commute to via personal or public transport!
The main skills required for this support role are - Microsoft Server, Networking, Firewall, Hardware, Hyper V and if you have used SQL Server it would be desirable but not a necessity.
