Care Assistant / Support Worker (Permanent)

At Pattom, we require Care Assistants / Support Workers to join our teams in Surrey to work with families, build positive relationships and help the service user to achieve their targets and goals.

We offer flexible hours covering Monday – Friday, 7am – 9pm and weekends. We offer:

• £9.00 - £10.27 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications and shift

The Care Assistant / Support Worker Responsibilities:

It might be a quiet chat over a cup of tea, or a long walk in the park on a sunny day, a trip to the cinema or a quiet drink around the pool table in the local pub. It could be someone there as a bit of support for a medical appointment, or to help work through that confusing form that came in the post.

Whatever the requirements of our service users, we are dedicated to providing them with the highest quality of support via our expanding and highly dedicated team of Care Assistants / Support Workers.

Who are we looking for?

At Pattom we understand that not just anybody will do, so we take pride in matching our service users with suitable staff and then give them time to work together. Life does not work in half hour timeslots and neither do we!

We would like to hear from people who have previous experience as Support Workers or working with service users with complex needs, or from those who feel they have the right attitude, compassion and personal skills to start a career in social care.
