Missions

• Developing skincare formulations form concept to end of project
• Holding experience of the formulation life cycle from design to project completion and transferring formulations between sites.
• Development of formulations, validation and the manufacturing process so experience of formulation scale-up is necessary
• Organise and monitor all the required testing and communicate results to marketing colleagues and the Technical Manager. Maintaining accurate records relating to the development and production of safe and legal cosmetics and personal care formulations.
• Keep up to date with raw material launches and product formulation and market trends.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the cosmetic regulations and ensure all products are developed in line with safety and legal guidelines.
• Be able to support and present alongside the Commercial team in customer presentations and meetings
• Work closely with the Process Chemist and Process department to ensure products are scaled up
• successfully.
• Communicate effectively and positively with all teams, colleagues and managers.
• Help to promote a positive working atmosphere within the company.

Profil

• Degree level in chemistry, cosmetics formulation
• Minimum 5 years experience in the cosmetics industry in a skincare formulation development role
• Problem solving and analytical ability
• Methodical and organised
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff in a non‐scientific position
• English are French are vital
