We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join the team based at our Ardley Energy Recovery facility (ERF).

Maintenance Planner Role:

Joining our team, the Maintenance Planner will develop and schedule dynamic maintenance plans. You will liaise closely with the Powergen Operations Managers to optimise planned preventative maintenance tasks (PPM’s).  You’ll call out, re-route and liaise with the reactive technicians and engineers to bring the assets back online without unnecessary delay, to ensure the equipment's performance is maximised.

The Maintenance Planner will liaise with the Performance Manager, Energy Trading desk and Finance Business partner to provide daily generation forecasts and plans for maintenance forecasting.

This role would suit someone with operational experience who wants to develop their career in the centralised control room arena. This is an office based role with a high level of computer interface, therefore we require corresponding level of ICT literacy.

Our ideal Maintenance Planner will have:

  • Experience of running CMMS / SCADA systems to monitor and optimise asset performance
  • Proven experience of planning maintenance for mechanical / electrical assets or similar
  • Fully conversant with CMMS and Project planning software
  • Tactful, strong and resilient in demanding situations
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, both verbally and written
  • Full Driving Licence
