Operations Engineer - £40-45K- Cambridge
The Position:
The job will involve visits to customer sites and also potentially include some international travel. The successful candidate must have extensive technical and commercial experience in installation, configuration and support of telecom systems with excellent client facing and project delivery skills. The role will include some field based system installation, pre commissioning of equipment and customer support.

*An engineering degree or similar qualification
*Experience of design, management or test of large IT systems
*Customer support of IT or communications systems
*Electrical installation experience
*Linux Experience - > 5years
*Hardware support experience
*Excellent computer skills
*Database and web based systems (we use Firebird and apache)
*Radio system deployment experience
*Telecom equipment configuration
Desirable:
*Linux system administration
*Database and web based systems (we use Firebird and apache)
*Radio systems design, planning or deployment
*An engineering degree or similar qualification
