MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Interpret both internal and customer test requirements; analyse and produce the relevant design documentation to include reports containing graphs and charts to interpret and clearly demonstrate results.
2.Assist with the analysis and investigation of any returned parts.
3.Provide electrical/electronic technical assistance to the R&D department and other areas of the business where appropriate.
4.Manufacture test fixtures, production equipment and test rigs.
5.Assist with the maintenance of user manuals and related documentation for company products.
6.Interpret test requirements and assist production personnel to troubleshoot and repair test and calibration systems.
7.Perform tests and calibrations of products when required.
8.To work in a cost effective and quality conscious manner to maximise productivity.
9.To work the necessary hours to achieve deadlines in conjunction with the working time regulation.
10.To carry out any duties as required by the company to ensure a quality product and service is delivered to customers on time.

1.To identify and participate in any training or development which contributes to the department and/or company objectives.

Desirable Skills
1.The ability to read and understand electronics schematics.
2.Fault diagnosis to component level on electronic assemblies.
3.Soldering skills for both through hole and surface mount components.
4.A basic understanding of microcontroller systems and peripherals.
5.A basic understanding of RF systems is desirable.
6.Experience with electronics test equipment such as DVM, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analysers is desirable.
7.To identify and participate in any training or development which contributes to the department and/or company objectives.

The role holder of this development role is responsible for proactive internal and external communications and needs to demonstrate good interpersonal skills to ensure projects are completed in a cost effective and timely manner.
