UX Product Designer (UX 60% / UI 10% / PO 30%)
London - Old Street
Technology Start-up

Let's start with the basics - working in Tech, particularly for a fast-paced growing start-up, is no easy gig. You need to know you'll be rewarded accordingly!
The successful Product Designer will not only receive a competitive salary of up to £70k, potentially more for someone outstanding, but you will also receive generous share options as well! This company are super flexible with working hours, including working from home.
They thoroughly believe in autonomy, trusting their employees, and giving them the freedom to excel in their own way.
And the absolute best bit (in my opinion anyway!) is they provide highly subsidised childcare, in fact HALF PRICE!!! Think of the amount of money this would save you on a monthly basis. Even if this wouldn't impact you now, perhaps it would it the future!
You will be working in a beautiful co-working space near Old St in central London. The office has showers, bike storage, free snacks and drinks, and a programme of social events - what more could you need?!
Without giving too much away, this tech start-up have true meaning and purpose, and are really trying to make a worthwhile difference to society (starting with the London Community). It's something really exciting to be a part of, and something there is a huge gap in the market for!
In terms of the team you will be working with - they have two core values, transparency and a kind culture. They live and breathe these on a daily basis. As much as they are growing quickly, they are passionate about ensuring these run through all their employees, established and new joins!
Don't get me wrong, there is a long list of qualities and experience you'll need to bring with you, but we can chat about that. As a bare minimum, I am looking to speak with Designers with the following skills/experience:
*Experience in product ownership of some form! About 30% of your role will involve PO tasks.
*At least 3 years' experience as a UX Designer.
*Emotional intelligence
*Experience working in an Agile/Lean environment
*You'll work closely with engineers and operations so previous experience of this will be important.

Your basic day to day responsibilities in this role will include -

*Prioritise your own backlog and product roadmap based on OKRs, strategy and insight
*Deliver outstanding user experiences
*Determine "what problems should we attempt to solve next" with good rationale behind your answers
*Conduct design reviews of the team's output
*Design digital experiences from the problem out
*Run research to test ideas, problems, design and gather qual and quant insight.
*Be the voice of the user across the company
*Clearly and concisely present various stages of interface design development to the rest of the company
*Contribute and build towards the overall happiness of the team
*Design journeys, services and experiences; not just pages, screens and components
*Extol the virtues of Lean UX throughout the entire business
*Ideate, sketch, wireframe, prototype, design and sometimes build your solutions

If this sounds like it would suit you, and you'd like to hear more, please get in touch asap! Email [Email Removed] or phone me on [Removed]
