Cafe Supervisor (Permanent)
Acorn is looking for an enthusiastic Cafe Supervisor to provide an excellent dining experience for guests an award winning Dyson campus.
The successful applicant will create an environment of great customer service, exceeding the customer's needs and expectations. Led by our Michelin trained head chef, the Dyson catering team are hard-working and customer focused, all cutomers eceive high class service on a daily basis.
The Cafe facilities are open 7am to 8:30pm and shifts will fall between these operating hours, working an 8 and a half hour day.
Accountabilities:
- Promoting positive performance of all team members to meet company service standards and deliver results.
- Ensuring the presentation and delivery of all that takes place within the cafe is of the highest standard.
- Using initiative to drive sales forward, implementing and managing efficient waste and stock control.
- Assisting the Chef Manager with recruitment and training of new team members.
- Ensuring all staff are fully trained within payment handling, producing end-of-day till reads and balancing end of day sales.
- Dealing with complaints appropriately and professionally.
- Working closely with the Department Manager, gathering feedback and suggestions.
- Working alongside the Management Team to design and developed improved standard operating procedures.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a Supervisor role.
- Customer facing experience.
- Stock Control.
- Food safety & food handling
- Barista trained would be an advantage
- Friendly and Confident demeanour
- Proven leadership experience
- Flexible approach to working
- Fantastic customer service and communication skills
- Efficient and reliable
