Senior Shift Maintenance Engineer

Location: Tilbury

Salary: £50k + Shift allowance + sign-on + 10% pension + holidays + stock options

Hours / shifts: 7:00am till 19:00pm Shifts
4-on 4-off shift Rota, deviation to allow every 2nd weekend off

The Person:
* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 or above in Engineering
* Mechanical or Electrical or Multiskilled
* Experience of supervision in a busy 24/7 environment
* Experience delegating tasks
* Various backgrounds considered: Manufacturing, Ex Forces, Automotive, Food, Distribution Centers, Automated Warehouse, Recycling, Biomass, Packaging or Printing, Chemical Plant, Brewery, Paper, Manufacturing Plant, Electromechanical / Automated Plant.
* Health and safety focused, good awareness and a can do attitude.

DESIRABLE: (training provided if not)
* Drives, inverter drives
* Pneumatics, robotics
The Job:
* Working as a leader within a small team of engineers
* 70% Maintenance Engineer tasks, 30% Supervising other Engineers
* Assist with breakdowns maintenance and reliability of electromechanical machinery, equipment and plant.
* Maintenance of various sections of the factory - PPM and fault finding
* Monitor production process & machinery performance.
* Assist with PPM & breakdown.
* Continuous improvement
* Health and safety focused.
* Able to work shifts in a 24/7 environment
* Monitor production process & machinery performance. Sensors, robotics, scanners, conveyors, packaging, sortation, labelers, fillers.
* Health and safety focused.
