We now have an opportunity for a Recycling Operative to join our St Helens site, working 48 hours a week.

The Recycling Operative Role:

The Recycling Operative will undertake duties within the site operation, as required or directed. This will include but not limited to, dismantling televisions, monitors, fridges and Small Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (Small WEEE). You’ll ensure compliance with all company IMS work practices as directed and assist with the general operations of the recycling team as required or directed by the Production Supervisor.

You’ll work as part of a team to ensure maximum productivity within the operation; understanding the production process and communicate any defects or issues to supervision, or maintenance teams.

The ideal Recycling Operative:

  • Experience of operating in a production or recycling environment
  • Ability to recognise different types of waste streams and types
  • An awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Experience of working in a team environment
  • Experience of working on a production line
