LGV1 / HGV1 / Class 1 Driver Nights- Exeter (Permanent)

Kenect Recruitment are proud to be working alongside the world's largest freight forwarding company resulting in us recruiting for a full time permanent LGV1 / HGV1 / Class 1 Driver based in Exeter.

The position is temporary to permanent meaning the first 12 weeks of the position will be via Kenect Recruitment before being taken on permanent with the client on week 13.

This is a SET night run which starts at 18.00pm Monday to Friday with a top line earning potential of £695.80 per week.

The Job:

• Completing 1 trunk run from Exeter to East Midlands Airport and return
• Start time is 18.00pm - Departing from Exeter at 18.30pm
• Arrive at East Midlands Airport at approx. 21.40pm
• From 22.00pm-03.30am on 'sleepout' (not available for work) - £18.50 sleepout fee paid
• Depart from East Midlands Airport at 04.00am
• Arrive back at Exeter at 07.15am
• 45am - Shift finish

Please note the hourly pay rate pauses between 22.00pm and 03.30am whilst on sleepout, however a none taxable sleepout allowance of £18.50 is paid per shift. The cab is a sleeper cab meaning you are able to rest properly during the 5 and half hours.

The Pay:

• £13.07 per hour for hours worked between 08.00am-19.00pm (x 1 for this shift)
• £15.37 per hour for hours worked between 19.00pm-08.00pm (x 7 for this shift)
• £18.50 per shift sleepout allowance (x5 for the week)
• £695.80 top line earnings for the week

Requirements:

• Must have a valid LGV1 (C+E) licence for a minimum of 6 months (Insurance purposes)
• No more than 6 points on your licence for minor offences
• Must provide a solid 5 year checkable work history that can provide references
• Must be willing to have a DBS check completed (Kenect will provide this)
• Must be flexible
• Must be willing to complete a driving assessment and induction before position commences
