I am recruiting for a Civil Aviation Authority based in Central Africa who is now seeking an A330 Flight Operations Inspector for a period of between two and five years.
The role is to start as soon as possible.
As a Principal Flight Operations Inspector, your primary function is to act as an interface between air operators and other aviation entities and the Civil Aviation Authority. You have program responsibility to assure that air operators meet the requirements of the Civil Aviation Regulations with respect to operations programs. You will be determining the need for and establish work programs for surveillance and inspection of air operators within manpower and budget limitations to assure adherence to the applicable regulations.
The ideal candidate will:
·Possess a valid and current ATPL with extensive experience as Pilot-in-Command on the A330. Extensive experience in training and checking (conducting skill tests) is required.
·Have a minimum of 10 years' experience of which at least 3 years should be management or supervisory experience as a government flight operations inspector from a recognized regulatory authority such as, USA FAA, Transport Canada, UK CAA, or an EASA Member State CAA.
·Demonstrate experience in FAA International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) Program would be an added advantage

·Work and residency visas will be applied for and funded by the end client (subject to the provision of a recent, clear criminal disclosure from the candidate's resident country).
·30 days' holiday per annum.
·Business class flight provided at the beginning and end of the contract, plus one mid-year economy flight home per annum.
