Southern Housing Group is looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader to provide leadership and guidance to the exciting new Many Sisters project and team members who will be working with women (particularly single mums) from BAMER communities, to help them increase their financial resilience, prevent financial life shocks, avoid unmanageable debt and reduce the impact of the poverty premium. 

The key purpose of the Team Leader role will be to develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships for the project and to share your knowledge and project learning to inform and advise on Southern Housing Group’s wider approach to financial inclusion, especially for BAMER communities.

Who we’re looking for:

Joining our team as a Team Leader, you will be working in an agile way across Tower Hamlets, Newham and Hackney, with a base at Fleet House, Farringdon.

The new project team will be working within the Community Investment department. You will be building key relationships with community groups and stakeholders demonstrating outstanding communication and engagement skills.

You will have worked within a project team before and have a good understanding of community outreach in the areas you will be working in. The role will require you to provide support to the project manager and maintain the performance of the team ensuring that objectives and targets are met.
