CASS Administrator (Contract)

The UK's leading tier 1 bank is looking for as CASS Administrator to join their offices in Cheltenham on a full time basis.
JOB PURPOSE
- Responsible for the production of daily client money internal and external reconciliations
- Recording / reconciliation of money in and out, banking, inter account money transfers, and oversight of daily banking work completed by FNZ
- Analysis of client money reconciling items and liaison with Operations areas to investigate root cause
- Review and analysis of safe custody asset reconciliations produced by FNZ, investigation and resolution of reconciling items
- MI production, including assets under administration and other ad hoc requests
- Responsible for recording potential risks and/or breaches of FSA rules or principles
- Recording of work quality statistics and onward communication of results
- Involvement in CASS regulatory project work
- Other daily and monthly ad-hoc tasks
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES & KEY TASKS
- Provide quality support to ensure all internal controls (bank accounts, systems) are in place, accurately maintained, reconciled and correctly reported
- Provide support with the operational control points - Breaches, Audit, Internal Control Framework
- Investigate reconciliation differences on a daily basis
- Support with BACS queries including liaison with on-boarding teams around new payroll
- Collate and report posting items to SAP
- Identify opportunities to build internal customer relationships
- Personal responsibility for issue resolution where possible, using commercial & business awareness
- Interprets data and root cause behind discrepancies and applies learning in the form of education to the service teams
- Working at all times lawfully and in accordance with pre-defined regulatory, compliance and financial requirements
- Working at all times in accordance with procedures, group/company policy and processes

- Monday - Friday / 35 hours per week
