Digital Fundraising Officer

A well known health charity are looking for someone to join their established fundraising team as a Digital Fundraising Officer. In essence, this role relies on digital marketing and digital engagement skills and sits within the fundraising team. This affords the successful candidate the opportunity to experience both functions and liase between the two. This is a permanent role is paying £28,000 per annum and is 37.5hrs per week (flexitime around core hours).

Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the fundraising, communications and digital teams to create multi channel engagement campaigns
- Build donor loyalty and encourage long term relationship with supporters
- Help maintain online donation pages
- Support with both aquisition and retention of supporters
- Track and report on digital fundraising activities including fundraising conversions and click through rates
- Analysing current and past campaigns to identify suceses and areas of improvement
- Adhere to relevant KPIs and support the wider fundraising team where neccesary and relevant

Preferred Skills:
- Good understanding of digital platforms including a variety of social media
- Experience with administrative and CRM systems and databases (we will train you on ours if you have used a different one)
- Working knowledge on charity laws and regulations relevant to this post
- Understanding of the value of fundraising for an organisation to reach its charitable aims
- Experience with the digital elements of this role are essential, also having experience of applying them directly to fundraising is preferred

Personal Attributes:
- Being ROI focused and driven by KPIs
- Able to multi task on multiple campaigns with conflicting deadlines
- Fluent at creating copy in English that is concise, clear and persuasive
- Interest in promoting health and medical awareness
