Static Stress Approver (Contract)

An opportunity to join an international Aerospace and Defence company as a Static Stress Approver for an initial 5 month contract, which is likely to be extended. As a Static Stress Approver in this company, you will be based in the Filton, Bristol office. You will be required to perform Static Stress Analysis activities, liaising with the various stakeholders to ensure the success of all potential Airworthiness tasks and potential modifications currently being undertaken
Responsibilities:

* The delivery of Static Stress Analysis and Documentation to support project timescales ensuring adherence to quality and schedule deadlines
* The candidate must be able to work autonomously and provide additional Approval Signatory capability within the team
* The role requires various types of stress documentation to be reviewed and signed i.e Stress Dossiers, Tech Reports, Modification Justification Reports

Skills:

* Experience on the Airbus A380
* Would be very advantageous if they have experience in both metallic and composite structures also
* Previously used NASTRAN, PATRAN, Abacus, Windows and specifically ISAMI
