Morson International are pleased to be working with our Client who have a strong presence within the Energy generation, new build, de-commissioning and defence sectors.

We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Managing Consultant on a permanent basis.

Role Overview
The Engineering Managing Consultant role is an excellent opportunity for an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineer/Project Manager, with account management experience and excellent client relationship management skills, to grow and develop as the scale of the project and role grows.
In this role you will develop client requirements into valuable engineering solutions.
This is a hybrid role enabling you to maintain the hands-on delivery of an engineering role, whilst also working at a strategic level to develop the scope of work and to proactively pre-empt customer issues and provide solutions. This role would suit an individual with the drive and ambition to develop their career to become a member of the New Nuclear and Generation Services Leadership Team.


Your role will consist of, but will not be restricted to the following:
Job Description
Provide and encourage Health and Safety leadership
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Identify opportunities to solve/pre-empt customer challenges and needs
Acting as an accessible and proactive customer interface that orchestrates and reaches back into the Clients organisation to ensure rapid responses, suggestions and solutions are provided
Work with the Key Account Director and customers at an operational and strategic level to understand the customers short, medium- and long-term needs, align our plans and strategies to add value to the customer and play an active role in the customer environment
Lead technical discussions with clients and associated business development activities
Develop innovative solutions and value and efficiency measures to differentiate the Clients offerings
Provide Technical delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and providing a conduit for delivery performance feedback


Candidate Specification
You will possess strong relationship management and influencing skills, adaptable to different levels in the customer and the Clients organisation
Able to assimilate and use key information associated with the Clients and the customers capability and services, processes and procedures for letting and delivering work, our interfacing and delivery arrangements
Able to generate and communicate clear and simple solutions and drive/offer a quick response
Hold a recognised professional qualification and be a member of an appropriate Institution
Experience in one or several technical disciplines associated with Civil Nuclear Power Plant operation and management and hence a level of technical credibility
Experience in the Management and delivery of technical work
Experience at /knowledge of Sizewell B helpful but not essential.

Please note
This role will require the candidate to have full Nuclear CTC Clearance.

This role is primarily based at Sizewell B Power Station, however there may be instances where travel to other offices may be required form time to time.
