An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the South West's leading employers as a Process Reliability Technician.

What will you be doing?

Joining our team, the Process Reliability Technician will provide technical expertise in the design, preparation and delivery of revenue and capital maintenance programmes within Resources and Production in a diligent and thorough manner.

You’ll work with the area Resources and Production Management Team to deliver proactive cyclical maintenance and to identify and promote improvement programmes across the Resources and Production Asset Base.

As part of your role, the Process Reliability Technician will collaborate with the area Water Treatment Technicians, Safety Reps, Minor Works Team Leaders, Reservoir Safety Technicians and Hydro Teams to ensure Treatment and HEP Assets are operating efficiently and that reliability issues are effectively managed and resolved.

What do you need?

  • Relevant experience in Water Supply or Water Treatment maintenance activity
  • Proven ability to communicate and liaise effectively with internal and external customers
  • Understanding of principles of Health and Safety procedures
  • Technical understanding of Water Treatment processes and raw water control would be beneficial
  • Strong skills in problem solving and fault finding
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment but also on your own
  • Ability to undertake out of hours standby duties
  • Adaptable and able to take on new skills which is essential in a continuous improvement environment
