Senior Account Manager (Permanent)

The Role
- You will responsible for providing technical support and knowledge to existing customers as well as new clients
- You will help manage and develop accounts as well as having prospecting new opportunities
- We have a large new business percentage; you will have opportunity to select the new customers you want to manage
- Handing incoming sales enquiries and providing the team with technical understanding
- Building, developing and managing relationships with customers, as such the role could also have the opportunity to visit customers and suppliers
- Supporting the Sales Manager, Directors and Team with meeting customers face to face
- Dealing with customer queries and resolving any queries
- Your role as Technical Sales Account Manager will encompass looking after territory with plenty of existing customer accounts
- Providing technical and business development leadership in the Electrical wholesales and cable management industry
The Person:
- A proven track record in sales within electrical wholesale, cable management, cable containment
- Experience in a Technical Sales position
- Experience devising sales strategies and growing revenue in B2B sales
- Confident working with key performance indicators
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Self-motivated, competitive with a passion for sales
- Ability to understand products and provide an understanding and express yourself clearly over the phone in person
- Strong customer over the phone & facing / sales skills
The Package:
- up to £35,000 + OTE £47,000
- Contributory pension scheme
- 25 days holiday + BH
- 08:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri
