We are currently recruiting for a Traffic Engineer with the following Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Graduate or associate member of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation or other relevant nationally or internationally recognised institutions
- Understanding of national and local highways and traffic technical standards, legislation, regulations and procedures
- Understanding of traffic engineering and traffic management principles
- Awareness of key transport issues affecting London
- Awareness of CDM 2015, its relevant duties and typical documentation
- Awareness of good practice in local area traffic modelling and traffic signal design
- Awareness of the Road Safety Audit process
- Awareness in designing, delivering, managing, assuring and/or commissioning selected work carried on highway and traffic assets
- Awareness of Autodesk Computer Aided Design packages
- Experience in the design, construction and/or maintenance of urban highways and traffic engineering interventions for low complexity/volume traffic engineering projects and programmes to meet challenging time, quality and cost requirements
- Experience in reviewing and analysing low complexity technical documents and data, and drafting technical reports
