The successful Catering Assistant will work of a shift pattern and be paid an hourly rate of £9.25, on top of a range of excellent benefits including:

The Catering Assistant role:

In this role you’ll provide an excellent food and beverage service, showing product knowledge and passion for what is being served. You will make sure all customers receive a friendly, efficient service and that all service areas are clean, tidy and safe.

Our Ideal Catering Assistant:

Will be committed to delivering a high standard of customer service and remain calm and positive even when it gets really busy.  You will also help with the cleaning and re-stocking of vending machines and other equipment, preparing meeting rooms for events, and be willing to pitch in with a variety of tasks linked to your job in order to support your manager, your team and our client. Also:

• Strong communication skills
• Experience in a similar role
• An understanding of health and safety in a catering environment
• Great time keeping
• Flexibility to support the team during absence and holidays etc.

We’ll provide you with full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You may already have a food hygiene qualification so please let us know in your application.
