Salary up to $96,000 per annum plus benefits and relocation package

Due to continued growth they are looking for a number of Agricultural Mechanics to join their operations across Western Australia.

Primary purpose
To diagnose and repair complex automotive issues and perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy agricultural machinery. You will join a team of service professionals who consistently deliver an exceptional standard of service to Wheat belt customers.
The work will vary from being in the workshop - completing all fit outs of new and used agricultural machinery, prior to delivery - through to on-farm break down call outs and servicing.

Key Responsibilities

Technical
*Keep up to date with technical information - available in Technical Service Bulletins and workshop manuals specifically in the areas of electrical and hydraulics
*Ensuring the machine is kept clean during and after repairs
*Ensure that tools of trade and special tools are maintained and calibrated
*Maintain the company vehicle if supplied in a clean and tidy manner at all time, and the services at the required intervals are performed
*Report any quality related problems or customer feedback to the Service Manager so the appropriate course of action can be taken
*Contribute to workshop meetings
*Ensure correct tagging when dealing with warranty repairs

Safety
*Have regard to the health and safety of themselves and others in the workplace
*Utilising the protective equipment provided
*Reporting conditions which appear to be unsafe or unhealthy
*Adhering the company procedures for securing a healthy and safe place of work
*Complying with fatigue management codes of practise
*Assisting in the investigation of any accident with the objective of introducing measures to prevent recurrence

Essential Requirements
*Recognised Apprenticeship in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
*NVQ 2 / City & Guilds 2 minimum qualification required
*3 years' post apprenticeship work experience as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic
*Experience working in the Agricultural industry
*Experience working on large agricultural farming equipment
*Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read/interpret OEM manuals
*Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment
*Drivers' license
Desirable Requirements
*Forklift license
* A/C ticket
