Systems Repair Technician (Permanent)
Working in our large and friendly team in Gosport, your role will be to carry out repairs to gas turbine engine components. You will be familiar with a range of techniques common to sheet metal work and fabrication including: welding, brazing, vacuum heat treatments, blending, detail part replacement.
You will be a great team worker who can manage priorities in a busy working environment, and follow a given production schedule. You'll have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as being numerate, ideally with knowledge of Geometry and Trigonometry. You will have completed an indentured apprenticeship as a machinist or tool maker. With your experience, you'll also be able to provide advice as a subject matter expert.
