LGV1 Driver (Ongoing Contract)

Kenect Recruitment are pleased to announce that we're recruiting for an experienced LGV1 driver on behalf of our prestigious client based in Atherstone - Greencore.

Our client are operational on a 24/7 basis and are looking for a flexible driver to be built into their current rota system each week. You would be required to work 5 days out of 7 which includes some weekend shifts.

Duties Include:

• Completing between 1-3 national deliveries/collections per shift
• Bulk deliveries and collections of sandwiches on pallets (no handball)
• Deliveries mainly to airports and distribution centres
• Use of tail lift required on occasions
• Refrigerated vehicle

Our client offers various start times however the majority of shifts start between 02.00am-04.00am which are classed as PM/night hours where a higher shift premium is paid.

The pay rates for the role of the LGV1 Driver are outlined below:

(AM Hours = 05.00am-17.00pm)
(PM Hours = 17.00pm-05.00am)

Limited Company Drivers / Umbrella:

• Monday-Friday AM = £11.50 p/h
• Monday-Friday PM = £12.50 p/h
• Saturdays & Sundays AM = £15.00 p/h
• Saturdays & Sundays PM = £16.00 p/h

PAYE Drivers:

• Monday-Friday AM = £10.50 p/h
• Monday-Friday PM = £11.15 p/h
• Saturdays & Sundays AM = £14.00 p/h
• Saturdays & Sundays PM = £15.00 p/h

Requirements:

To apply for this role you must have the following:

• A minimum of 6 months LGV1 entitlement on licence (insurance)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid CPC/DQC Card
